Building capacities in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) – including AI, digital skills, and sustainable livelihoods.
We believe that economic empowerment begins with access to infrastructure, technology, and skills development.
Our Infrastructure and Economic Empowerment program focuses on Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) as drivers of sustainable development. We build capacities in Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital literacy, renewable energy infrastructure, and enterprise development. By equipping communities with the skills and tools they need, we create pathways to economic independence and resilience.
We address economic empowerment through these strategic pillars.
We build capacity in Artificial Intelligence, data science, and digital skills to prepare communities for the future economy and enhance productivity across sectors.
We improve access to internet, digital tools, and information technology in rural communities, bridging the digital divide and enabling participation in the digital economy.
We support community-led infrastructure projects – including roads, water systems, and renewable energy installations – that create jobs and improve quality of life.
We promote entrepreneurship, support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and facilitate access to finance and markets for community-based businesses.
We promote savings groups, microfinance, and financial literacy to empower individuals and households to manage their resources and build economic resilience.
We provide vocational training in ICT, renewable energy, construction, and other trades to equip youth and adults with marketable skills.

Understanding the infrastructure and economic gaps we are working to bridge.
Only 22% of Ugandans have access to the internet. Rural communities are disproportionately excluded from the digital economy.
Poor roads, limited electricity, and inadequate water systems constrain economic activity and access to services in rural areas.
Many youth lack the skills needed for the modern economy, leading to high unemployment and underemployment.
Over 60% of Ugandans lack access to formal financial services, limiting their ability to invest and build economic resilience.
Your support helps build infrastructure, develop skills, and create economic opportunities for communities across Uganda. Join us in building a prosperous future.
